Phil O’Keeffe
(Director and Head Fumigator)
Phil is a highly experienced fumigator who prides himself on ensuring compliance and high level customer service. Originally from country NSW and having been in the industry since the tender age of 21, his industry knowledge coupled with old school country charm is what sets him apart from the rest.
Phil is a proud family man and welcomed his first grandchild in 2022. He loves all things ocean and has completed several crossings to Rottnest and gained lifelong friendships through this passion.
Phil moved to WA in 1995 the year the Dockers played their first game in the AFL. As Phil worked on the docks, he decided to jump on the Dockers bandwagon. It has been a long journey, but he remains a loyal supporter.
Phil is an experienced and hands on manager. He personally sees that all staff are set up for success through mentoring and training. Phil handles every aspect of business operations, including all things quarantine and customs from applications, approvals, auditing, compliance and staff management.
His qualifications include:
- A full technician fumigation licence for ships, containers, silos and stacks under sheet. Additionally, he holds endorsements for Methyl Bromide, Sulfuryl Fluoride and Ethyl Formate in a Vapormate formulation.
- A high risk C6, DG & LF ticket which is a 60T mobile slewing crane, dogging and Light forklift ticket as well as a telehandler.
- Authorised inspecting officer for interstate cut flowers post treatment.
